Registration procedures

Registration priority:

First registration period is for Cowansville residents only
Second registration period is for municipalities participating in the municipal agreement
Third registration period is for non-residents

Procedures:

For residents: you must provide two recent documents proving your residence including a driver's license and either a pay stub, student card, school report card, or hospital card.

For municipalities participating in the intermunicipal agreement, the procedure is as follows: 

East Farnham: You must purchase the agreement letter (contact your Town Hall). The non-resident tariffs not authorized for cities participating in an agreement. 

Brigham: Before the registration you must settle the additional costs (contact your Town Hall). A receipt will have to be provided to Cowansville in order to be accepted.

Abercorn, Brome, Dunham, Frelighsburg, Lac Brome (Fulford, Foster, Iron Hill, Bondville, East Hill, Knowlton, West-Brome) and Sutton: you must provide two forms of proof of residence (driver’s license, pay stub, student card, school report card, hospital card) 

Bromont (agreement covering aquatic activities only): you must provide two forms of proof of residence including a driver’s license and either a pay stub, student card, school report card or hospital card. 

The Recreation, Culture and Community Life Service reserves the right to cancel an activity if there are not enough registrations.

Refunds 

In the event of cancellation by a participant one week or more prior the start of the activity, a full refund will be made. A 10% administration fee will be charged.                                     

In the case of a cancellation by a participant less than one week prior to the start of the activity, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. 

No refunds will be made after the start of the activity except for health reasons supported by a doctor’s certificate.

The Recreation, Culture and Community Life Service of the Town of Cowansville has developed a full array of activities. With the help of a number of partners and collaborators, the Service supports a number of major events which are offered free of charge to the citizens.
